Good morning, Tyler!

Well, this is it. We’re about to close the book on spooky season. The candy bowls will soon be empty, the giant skeletons will come down, and our pumpkins will soon slowly melt into the front-porch. In their place: giant red and green inflatables, Christmas lights, and a little extra traffic.

Today’s a slightly lighter day for news and events. Maybe that’s to be expected as we make the handoff between Halloween and the final stretch into the holiday season. Consider it a deep breath before the rush. I’m sure we’ll see a fuller slate next week as holiday shopping and the season hits full stride.

In the meantime, there’s still plenty going on around the area.Β

Let’s dive into what’s happening in Tyler!

In today’s edition:
πŸ—³οΈ Early voting wraps up today! Final day to cast your ballot early.

πŸ—οΈ Downtown is open: Square construction continues, but shops and restaurants are ready for you.
